from despair to wtf
June 2025 - Week 1
As the militarised world casually surpass the twisted evil of every horror story imagined, Summertime follows Springtime “For Hitler”. With tunes, though, this is TheZineUK documentary, after all.
A global resistance continues to bloom.
“You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.”
(Pablo Neruda)
Within a majority resistance of kind souls, there’s a steely determination to stay repulsed by the bloodthirsty, ingreeding alien hearted bot brains who parrot mainstream politricks with the artificial stupidity that is now allowed to see the bigger picture of artificial “intelligence”.
Situationism: 2017 was the Zeenagers Expo Origin Stories Year. YouTube slideshow: "The #MusicPeopleParty Begins!" (TheZineUK's 2021 cast, cats, crew 2014-2017). This was TheZineUK on line magazine front page image of Autumn 2019 byTyla Challenger of hot property rock band, Hot Property https://www.instagram.com/hotpropertymusic/ - It predicted the 2020 vision of lockdown onwards which is, indeed, “a postmodern fairytale”.
AI? - Appropriation Implied.
Nature still peaks through music. As organic flesh and blood of a living world, look to artists for a blueprint of a future that can work. In Spring 2025, artists protested the “government” siding with AI corporations over artists.
You just can’t beat actual live performance, though.
Point in case, here are breaking rock stars, Emergency Break, at the recent Soccer Six Fest, starring. This event, musician sports day soundtracked by up and comers, is another golden thread of our story tapestry

Oi! - Organic Insistence
Nature threw an inclusive party into this year, as The Musos Awards kicked off the Soccer Six 30th anniversary with The Bands Come Out To Play, in February.
…which 2025 names, events and releases should be on the radar for The Musos Awards? #musosawards26 is GO, as it says “See You In Early 2026” at https://www.instagram.com/musosawards/ - so stay tuned
Nature’s Force Is Strong - and remains The Way.
TheZineUK is highly Once Upon Another Time, functioning within a still mostly natural parallel dimension.
In what passes for reality, an evil empire rules the sci fi dystopian world. Even our own “Normal Island” has a scary fairy tale, Nonce Upon A Time, there are even wicked royals. As lies are truth and up is down, it’s all a bit too much, sometimes. Thank feck for the big tunes and statements.

Skin is an eternal #StageStyle icon - as well as an inspiration of the Planet Water dimension
Post lockdown, simultaneously overwhelmed and underwhelmed….
We are WHELMED
Hallo 2025. By the first quarter of this 21st century’s White Mirror Age, “couldn’t make it up” and “through the looking glass” have lost all meaning.
Thank feck for Zeenagers
All backgrounds and generations are woven into this tapestry of installation. Our deliciously diverse, shared, grassroots resistance involves unforgettable tunes and moments and we are sometimes even blessed with many uplifts, for balance: Performances that belong on bigger stages, art-fuelled cults and passions, shared sunsets and moon rises. Sharing the joy for a fertile environment to stay strong and inspired, is a privilege.
TheZineUK has been home to #MusicTourism For The People since Spring 2023 when we celebrated our 9th year of existence at the British Music Embassy at SXSW, Austin, Texas. Fast forward to 2025 when the debut SXSW London is currently happening. We are excited as more of our faves, LOUD WOMEN Fest 2025 Tickets, Sat, Sep 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM | Eventbrite tickets and (above image) Decolonise Fest havehttps://decolonisefest.co.uk/tickets/ have been announced over the first weekend of September. You’re spoilt for choice, London.
“Nothing disturbs me more than the glorification of stupidity.”
(Carl Sagan)
Hopefully, as we near 2025’s Half Time, TheZineUK’s whimsical situationism makes increasing sense in the hostile environment of crapitalism’s farcical “reality”. We fight, we resist, we make a song and dance about everything and OH, what a soundtrack our virtual movie is blessed with.
Thank you everybody who is on side.
