ArtfulFest #PlanetWater25

Events Department round up of October 2025 recommenations. Can ANYBODY relate to the ongoing #ZeenagersExpo creativity? If so, join in. See 2026 for more info.

In short, ArtfulFest month 2025 has been the most connective so far. Our documentary is imitating the life that art creates while pulsing out the art for life to imitate. See articles at this site, by Dizzy Spell and Ruby Blue. Since the end of September, especially.

Day 23: Take a few minutes to let this new street poem - ‘Glass’ - by The Sound of Bo Belle, sink in.

This rest of this page (by myself, Caffy) is neither journalism or poetry, it’s situationist whimsy, love pirate blarney etc - so you need read no further as ArtfulFest listings/updates are …

…here at the Events Department Blog.

#Artfulest (typos included - no AI was slopped in the making of this flyer). THE NOW + FNTSY + more are on tour. Day 24: The Clause debut album, Eighty Eight Miles home gown headline and Queen Ino play Oxford Circus. Mama Ft Antonella grace Birmingham next week) and ye olde pic from the original inspiration for Octobers of Creativity. The rest below can be filed under “further reading”

TheZineUK is a situationist tapestry of whimsy woven with friends and moments from the various dimensions of human life which weaves shared poetic souls.

We are Earthlings with one foot in a parallel dimension (I experience as Planet Water). Our humanity is simultaneously evolved and ancient, pulsing and breathing Nature’s sixth sense instincts in our air, radio, sound, water, ESP and light waves.

Fish pouches, hand crafted by Toast, The Goblin Laird. The “Acwariwm”inspired by the Ani Glass single from her album, ‘Phantasmgoria’. One of the LP launch tour (sparkling) performances was Ani’s first London headline, at The Social. I used to work for Heavenly Records so there was a circle of life and the venue is a regular hang out when Chaos Twins are in town. The gig was an multi sensory uplift of Live Music, Glamour, Welsh, Cornish, Sign Language, Visuals and an audiece (from as far as Europe) who were an organic part of the show. The three fishes were gifts for Ani, her special guest Shoko Yoshida and TheZineUK’s own warm welcome to gig socials and so much more, The Blur Fairy. Avant club beats electropop is what popped the cork of this year’s Artful Fest (virtual curation of recommendation) from 1st-31st October.

Vintage West Indian Rock Chick

Grassroots and Independent Music Venues remain my life long civilisation circuit since skiving school. Or as I know it, studying music tourism at Moon Base, Universe City. There’s a spirituality of making acquaintances, friends with strangers, falling out, falling in, all perfectly imperfect. All very human.

There are so many moments like this in our alternative arts tales whether in the professional photography of a wealth of creators or, as above, a n amateur snapshot capturing the spirit of Rocklands (i.e. S.E.London postcodes over the River Thames from Docklands). Where Lover’s Rock meets Rocker’s Love. Planet Water uniqulture is as real as post truth Planet Earth. Trust.

You have to believe in magic to experience it.

I am still living an upside down, real time, alternative rock opera in real time. Life is almost Almost ALMOST FAMOUS in many ways. It’s the credible calibre of the interdependent circuit that TheZineUK documenting identifies.

In grassroots venues, especially, we meet people from the radio, recognise new music supporting presenters and DJs, exchange gig tips like a scouting outing or just enjoy the experience of being AT the show while IN the show.

2018. The Origin Stories were already shaping the now and next.

‘Rocklands’ by (widely praised, awarded, acclaimed and respected film makers), Blaine Brothers, was screened at London Short Film Festival 2025. It followed the 2024 footsteps of Jean Genie & Jonny Hayes with ‘Samuel Coleridge Taylor. Search For The Blue Note’. ArtfulFest also blessed with screenings and videos this year from more golden threads, Paul Sng and JJ Eringa.

Sometimes, we’re just documenting the vistas of science and nature as the sun sets while you’re high in the sky atop a hill. Thanks JJ.

Then some of TheZineUK’s most beloved moments and independent festivals ALL happened this year. In an age of bands, venues and events falling like dominoes, take heart in building our communities…

Music Tourism For The People recommends The Musos Awards, Cro Cro Land, Brighton Rock n Roll Circus by Kick Out The Jams, Soccer Six Fest, On The Meadow, Decolonise Fest, LOUD WOMEN (and This Feeling, becoming a mainstay stage for all backgrounds at big music festivals including 10th Anniversary at Isle Of Wight Festival). End Of The Trail Creative repped at the first SXSW London/Europe, Scruff Of The Neck went even more international and 122MM will stage the virtual 24-hour show 24:1900 again on 6th-7th December. TheZineUK owes these alliances - and more of our extended communities - so many thanks. On our tech-mates angle, Flare Audio, Fourth Portal and TrylifeTV are smashing the now and next.

Add all that to audiovisual names from the grassroots circuit outwards, being heard beyond the tiny isles and islands off the coast of the continental mainland and you have ye olde punk world magick working for all who recognise a beat-poetic renaissance, when they experience it.

No need for diversity hires, tokens etc, because. (1) Playing Class Friends. (2) Bloody brill shows (3) It’s 2025 FFS. Humans, on the whole, are catching up with the other animals on this. Onwards, then.

The Hawley Arms, Camden, perfectly punky launch for The Musos Awards, 2026…

(Ha ha, in 25 years, family and friends have not enquired “Planet Water?!”

Pure sixth sense supernature, that is. I’m not insane. I’m officially outsane since what Ruby rightly notes is the origin stories year. 2017). In our documenting, TheZineUK’s zeenagers (cast, cats and crew) of 2021 are a 2014-2017 youtube slideshow is called The #MusicPeopleParty Begins : Every picture is worth a thousand words.

August 2021, the post lockdown shows re-introduced faves back onto a stage. Here’s NOVA TWINS returning at the Love Music Hate Racism festival in Essex.

A documentary by DIY Professionals has researched and reported since 2014

If you need to hire musicians, photographers, film makers, designers, writers, event managers, sports, technology wizards, grassroots venues, independent music festivals, consultant conversations and non-AI technical writing - then how can TheZineUK help you? We’re different.

Within this doc I (Caffy) am allowed to be a dark horse with celestial faith in Nature’s Universe. It’s how I’m here typing this right now.

I met TheZineUK’s creative Chaos Twins, for instance, through alternative arts talents. My own skills? I make great mash potato. Additionally, cats and horses don’t mind me and my local neighbourhood’s trees feel like family.

Yeah, I’m mainly in the parallel dimension but the serendipity and kismet of ancient humanity is what the myths, legends and more passed down, are made of. Everyday people. It’s why TheZineUK’s Fertile Environment is just as much a reality as Earth’s global hostile environment.

Saturday 6th April 2019. A Blue Print of How To Festival. The poster by Julia Woolams of 31% deserves to be a mural. Thank you Cro Cro Land for allowing TheZineUK into this punk Brigadoon world. Hooray for 2024 and 2025 events and all the artists and allies tales that they tell!

2025 marks the first quarter year of Planet Earth

Britain (“Britian” - cun’servative party). 15 baconbuggering years (so far) of the harshest tory misrule within a global eruption of corruption with no interruption. I’ll ask again: Why is it toff ponces love nazisandnonces?

Simultaneously, poetic souls magnetise expanding community, still, In this year of the wood snake. Yes, met a snake of wood, this June. There are many and all kinds of snake in the world. Maybe I’m one?

“Wood Snakes have a very friendly manner and also a great understanding of human nature which will help them out throughout their lives. The Wood Snake is very good at communicating with others which gains them many friends and colleagues.” (Feng Shui Web)

This is also Planet Water if you can sense it.

Some of my friends were in playgrounds, or not yet born when I first stepped onto a rock n roll yellow brick road. Millennium Stadium, Millennium Eve - I broke on through to the other side.

This should soundtrack a scene from Trump’s Ballroom… Weather Underground have got more bandcamp where PARTYTIME USA came from

The 1990s still shape 21st century futures.

Some arts friends have amazing books that will keep stories alive forever there’s human life. I knew some of the talents at the start of my parallel dimension living. Many still create songs, films, ideas to this day. We all have our game to play in Earth’s matrix. I’m grassroots venue fixated. Sometimes catching bigger stage potential at close range. Still. Thank you Music Venue Trust/Featured Artists Coalition.

Music x Film x Literature x Generation Tremorists: 1st September 2025 Matt of The Molotovs (play their sold out Scala headline at day of writing this) and Tim Abbot, behind the Oasis scenes of the 1990s and on a fascinating journey with unseen footage and anecdotes like an informal cultural heritage evening of engagement in Tim’s virtual front room: Oasis Definitely - The Lost Tapes Tour

New communities have been born from moral compasses connecting at gigs, outside court rooms, in fields… There is a Planet Water fluidity of back stories in our cast, cats and crew.

The Featured Artists Coalition Summer Party

I believe in the power of numbers.

By Saturday 8th November it will be three months since I went through the lions gate with film maker, JJ Eringa as he took friends (myself included) to a different kind of sermon on The Mount.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Whatever happens next and with whoever, wherever, whenever, how and why, is in the lap of the universe, uni verse, multiverse multi verse… Our real, playing class friends.

One friend was downwards of a hill this same day. Flagshagging Hotel-shouters were playing ‘If You Tolerate This’ by Manic Street Preachers (WTF, listen to the lyrics!). Simultaneously, I was up a hill, it felt like sitting in the sky. I felt the portal. What happens next is with the grace of our universe.

Be seeing you.

Ha ha, I am weirder, really because I am the most ordinary person that I know…
