A story is unfolding, organically, of a Manchester based Welsh musician and vocalist who is sparking up the new pop sounds. Catching Megan live again recently at Truck Festival it’s a thrill to see her confidence developing to match her craft and compositions.

MEGAN WYN is having a 2023 to remember. It’s expanding, courtesy of her new single - ‘You Don’t Get It’ - and some amazing headline shows to round off this year.

#FuturePicks plant DIY seeds of the Newer Wave’s (very real!) #FertileEnvironment - The 21st century’s biggest alternative rock n roll music movement back stories. Megan is woven into this talent-rich tapestry.

In Autumn 2021, Louise Schofield (watch her story, also!) conducted interviews (TheZineUK, This Feeling collab) at Isle Of Wight Festival.

The festivals gonna keep coming for Megan and her band…

In August 2022, Megan was captivating at This Feeling’s ReWired Festival (Leeds/London). So many people can relate to her heart-on-sleeve lyrics. “I wanna be her so bad it hurts, And babe you're only gonna make it worse” - A minute or so of ‘Jealousy’ Live At The Garage.

By July 2022, she’s owning a bigger This Feeling stage at Truck...

It’s been a year of organically developing into her star shaped self, reworking songs and playing some very special live events including a Record Store Day headline at the legendary Liverpool Jacaranda, packing Stockport Bask with another headline, playing Golden Touch Festival, supporting The Coral, The Ks, etc.

A good sport, also. The weekend before Truck Festival, Megan (Everton fan!) was on the pitch raising the profile of Women’s Football at the Music Industry CUP SoccerSixFest’s Manchester debut. Ah, such a cute after games clip with fellow young up n comer, Alex Spencer.

Megan was a popular turn at Truck Festival, interviews with various sussed independent multi media - and you can hear fans chanting her name in the applause at our insta festy-clip.

‘You Don’t Get It’

An all feelings melodic wash of international expanse, ‘You Don’t Get It’ is a major toned genre fusion of a big tune that is also Megan’s most personal release to date. This single release is the perfect start to her future. Respect.

The host of This Feeling Stage, John Kennedy (Radio X, The Remedy) got a first hand experience of the Truck Festival line up. John gave ‘You Don’t Get It’ the premiere radio play on his iconic X-posure show.

The accolades are coming. ‘You Don’t Get It’ has also won Megan Wyn’s first editorial Spotify playlist (Fresh Finds UK + IE), This Feeling Track of The Day on GigSlutz, and - alongside the radio plays - an interview with Huw Stephens as Artist Of The Week on BBC Wales and an interview on BBC Manchester.

A final nod of respect, yet again, to one of the 21st Century music heritage game changers. At the time of writing, the TF Zone has just triumphed in Bridlngton Spa with a load of alternative star turns for This Feeling By The Sea.
