Halloween Disco Treats with Natasha Kitty Katt's Batt Danse!
If you’ve been hanging around this ol’ site, you know we have been hyping up the futuristic disco kitten that is Natasha Kitty Katt for ages. A modern-day dark disco queen on the decks conceived on one full moon’ed boogie night between Vampira and Eldon Tyrell (Probably).
She’s been putting the disco in dystopia. In a good way.
…and now, probably by some forbidden, unspeakable, magickal means, she’s back and she’s got Dead Boy Billy Wirth (swoon!) on board with the genre-defying Halloween bop ‘Batt Danse’. .. Grab the rock box, kids!
Seriously though, Batt Danse is a BOP - one that’s destined to find its way on everyone’s Halloween playlist. Billy’s Vincent Price-eque vocals lean into a claw-rapping beat that’s a -beyond infectious- 80’s synth sound that will have everyone hooked within the first few minutes, regardless of their usual music taste. All at once, it’s disco, it’s goth, it’s electro. It’s going to be on your playlist this Halloween and beyond.
The full Video for Batt Danse drops this Halloween, so keep your eyes peeled. If the above trailer is anything to go by, it’s going to be nothing less than iconic.
P.S. Natasha is one of our #Zeenager recommended acts to catch live. She’s playing at Bristol’s Shindig Festival in November. Tickets are SOLD OUT at the moment, but if you can find a way through the dark arts for a ticket, it’s a show worth selling your soul for. Alternatively, if you can’t find the grimoire in your local Waterstones, she’s playing Disco Love Affair in Aberdeen on November 25th - Tickets here!
