The Rezner

Fresh from their sold out IVW20 (Independent Venue Week ) headline at The Old Bakery, razorsharp rock riot, The Rezner let loose a wild willed new single ‘Wouldn’t You Like To Know?’ on 21st February. It’s a driving jump’n’roar along instant classic, and it is desirable: These days we need to punch the air, rather than each other. This affable young group, are one of our best, home grown therapies, loaded with positive energy and promise.

The band have bustling radio support for ‘Wouldn’t You Like To Know?’ from BBC Introducing (session included), Amazing Radio and USA’s legendary Rodney Bingenheimer – plus single of the week accolades and wowed reviews, already.

This record captures their punchy punk performance power. Following first (2019) singles ‘Micky’ and ‘For Myself’, rising momentum will continue. More soon no doubt, with these outings;

Feb 13th – Whitworth, Lancs – Cross Keys
Feb 14th – Plymouth – Junction
Feb 15th – Exeter – The Cavern
Feb 22nd – Torquay – Apple & Parrot
March 7th – London – Kernow In The City
March 11th – Falmouth – Fives for Clunk Magazine
March 20th – Plymouth Underground
(supporting The Velvet Hands)

If you can, GO! These gigs are addictive fun, with a spiky set of hooky rock rockets. Those in the know are mad for The Rezner. Those that aren’t yet, get in the know! (top scouts, This Feeling and Alan McGee are on suss). Not empty words; we booked, then booked them again, last year!

The Rezner are a pleasure as well as a thrill. This (bootleg audio) is ‘Snooze Delight’ another soaring TUNE, live at The Music People Party in December.

Bootleg sounds #FuturePicks, The Rezner, are Rock n Roll troubadours armed with hooky TUNES, performance and magnetism. TheZineUK invited them back, 'cos the...

The set is about to go into more chart potential with ‘Would It Be Likely’.. but you’ll have to request it when you GO TO SEE The Rezner!

Like ARGH KiD (another of this doc’s Future Picks), reported after their #IVW20 gig together; “Manchester promoters, we need to get them boys playing up here ASAP.” Watch these spaces, it’s how this story rolls.

The live clips from our own show became a boozy idea on the dance floor at Nineties Mike‘s after party. Six weeks later, #FuturePicks #1 (made in London, #IVW20) starts something new.

Presenter Louise Schofield is a prolific multi talented energy whose interviews include Gaz Coombes, Shame, Idris Elba, Jo Brand, Blood Red Shoes, Fontaines D.C, Bang Bang Romeo, Dream Wife, Weekend Recovery (100’s more!) She caught up The Rezner at The Music People Party – her second interview with them in The Monarch’s back garden.

Fast forward two months and despite some recent good news from Music Venue Trust for grassroots spaces, live music has ended at this legendary location. Counter culture culled. Our rising stars twinkle harder though. What happens next? Wouldn’t You Like To Know!
