Today we speak to Lara Snow who has released a stripped back version of her single 'Wild Sea' which is a very smart take on the more full version. We asked Lara some pressing (!) questions below:
Tell us how long you've been making music?
I have been singing ever since I can remember, but I started my first band in high school.
What’s been some of your highlights so far on your musical journey?
The thing I love the most is touring, being on the road and meeting all the beautiful souls that follow me and my music.
I've been very lucky to be able to play all over Europe in the past few years and also in a few places in the U.S., so this is definitely the highlight - playing shows and festivals all over the world.
Your single is called 'Wild Sea'. What is the wildest thing you've done? (That we can print!)
Haha, well there are some things I would love to tell you in person, but for print I would probably say packing up my entire life into five suitcases, and moving to Berlin to pursue my musical career, leaving everyone and everything I love behind.
Tell us more about the single. Is there a meaning behind the song?
There was someone in my past, and we had this big love, but we couldn’t be together.
When it ended we didn’t speak to each other for many years, so I was writing songs about him, about the past, kind of honoring what we had, and that helped me find closure.
